The X -representation of the Ethereum Layer 2 ZKSync and its developer matter -Labor were affected on May thirteenth on May thirteenth, whereby Hacker incorrectly claimed by the US authorities of US authorities.
An X account published on May thirteenth in reference to ZKSync, which confirms the accounts for ZKKSYNC and MATTER Labs, were endangered. The users warn to not interact after the accounts had shared the left to a fake airdrop in an apparent phishing fraud.

The chopped ZKSync and Matter Labs have each published a fake explanation wherein ZKKSync was examined by the US security and Exchange Commission and that the financial department could impose sanctions on the platform.
