Trust Wallet uses Revolut for crypto purchases in Europe

Update (December 11, 2025, 5:00 p.m. UTC): This article has been updated so as to add an announcement from Eowyn Chen, CEO of Trust Wallet.

Trust Wallet, the self-custody crypto wallet from Binance co-founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, has partnered with European fintech unicorn and digital banking giant Revolut to introduce a brand new method to purchase crypto assets on its platform.

Trust Wallet users can now buy Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH) and Solana (SOL) with Revolut through a direct integration, the corporate announced Thursday.

With a minimum purchase starting at 10 euros ($12) and a cap of 23,000 euros ($26,950) every day per transaction, Trust Wallet's recent purchase option goals to offer a faster and easier method to access crypto from Europe.

In October, Revolut received regulatory approval from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission to supply crypto services in 30 markets of the European Economic Area in compliance with the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) framework.

Revolut joins a large list of trust wallets which can be on the rise

Revolut joins a big selection of on-ramps or options to buy crypto for storage directly in self-custody wallets by Trust Wallet users, including MoonPay, Mercuryo, Binance Connect, Topper, AlchemyPay, Ramp, Paybis and Swapped.com.

On the opposite hand, MoonPay, Mercuryo and Ramp are the one three off-ramp options, Trust Wallet CEO Eowyn Chen told Cointelegraph.

“Partnering with Revolut, one in all Europe’s largest neobanks with over 65 million verified users, enables Trust Wallet to supply users a seamless and fee-efficient method to fund their wallets and access crypto,” Chen said, adding:

“For our users, this implies faster onboarding, no additional Revolut fees, and fast access to top cryptocurrencies like BTC, ETH, SOL, USDC and USDT, while maintaining full control of their assets.”

According to the announcement, BTC, ETH and SOL are initially the one three crypto assets supported by the combination. However, the businesses said they expect so as to add stablecoins similar to Circle's USDC (USDC) at a later date.

The feature enables fee-free crypto purchases using multiple fiat currencies supported by Revolut, including the Euro, the British Pound, in addition to the Czech Koruna, Danish Krone, Polish Złoty, and others.

While crypto purchases with Revolut Trust Wallet are offered fee-free, depositing money right into a Revolut account isn’t fee-free in lots of cases, including via bank transfer, card top-up and money deposit. Cash deposits are subject to a 1.5% fee and are capped at $3,000 per calendar month, in accordance with Revolut's FAQs.

The integration got here shortly after Revolut secured a $75 billion valuation following the completion of a non-public share sale in late November. “This makes us Europe’s Most worthy private company and one in all the highest 10 Most worthy private corporations on this planet,” Revolut said in a post on X.

CZ-backed Trust Wallet is actively tapping into trending market sectors, including prediction markets and real-world asset tokenization, and expanding access to those offerings for self-custody users.

Cointelegraph contacted Revolut and Trust Wallet for comment on the combination but had not received a response by publication time.
