The Ripple's right -wing chief said that the rejection of a proposed XRP comparison by a US court at Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) was not a threat to the Ripple victory.
Judge Analisa Torres from the US district court for the southern district of New York rejected a joint application for Ripple-Sec, who applied for an indicative decision on her proposed agreement on May fifteenth.
The Chief Legal Officer of Ripple, Stuart Alderoty, said that the rejection doesn’t reverse the corporate's victory within the case. The company announced the top of the lawsuit on March 19.

Alderoty emphasized that the newest court decision doesn’t change the proven fact that XRP (XRP) is just not security, and added that the rejection is expounded to “procedural concerns when dismissing Ripple's cross-appeal”.
Why did the court refuse to grant the judgment?
According to the court document, Torres rejected the appliance as a “procedure inappropriately”, because the sec and ripple didn’t submit the right procedural application to support the proposed agreement.
“By styling their application as one for the comparison permit, the parties won’t enter into the severe burden that they must overcome so as to clear the injunction and reduce the civilian punishment considerably,” the judge wrote.
The SEC and Ripple agreed to cut back the 125 million dollar days of the court before Ripple -CEO Brad Garlinghouse announced the top of the case. Alderoty then announced on X that the SEC would hold 50 million US dollars of $ 125 million.
“The parties haven’t made any efforts to fulfill this burden; of their application, the rule is just not even mentioned,” says the court document.
Community asks for explanations
Since Alderoty didn’t submit any details on the sort of procedural concerns of the court, but the general public assured that Ripple and the SEC “fully comply with solve the case”, many in the neighborhood were dissatisfied with the shortage of details by Ripple.
