Ripple Labs will commit an extra $ 5 million to finance academic research and promote blockchain talents within the Asia-Pacific region.
In a blog post on Tuesday, Ripple Labs said the extra financing through his blockchain research initiative (UBRI) from the university, which universities will finance in six countries, with the colleges in Taiwan and Australia being assigned to latest grants.

Ubri has signed $ 1.1 million to Yonsei University in South Korea over a six-year partnership. In Japan, UBRI has signed 1.5 million US dollars to Kyoto University and University of Tokyo.
