CoinFlip Bitcoin Kiosks Expand to Texas Convenience Stores with Yesway Partnership
Chicago-based Bitcoin kiosks have made their way to convenience stores in Texas, providing customers with safe, clean, and quality locations to buy and sell cryptocurrency.
CoinFlip, a startup cryptocurrency company, has partnered with Fort Worth-based Yesway to install 45 kiosks in Yesway and Allsup locations across Texas, South Dakota, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Iowa. This partnership aims to make cryptocurrency more accessible to customers in these areas.
Josh Allen, group vice president of global kiosks and international of CoinFlip, expressed excitement about the partnership with Yesway, stating that the company’s customer- and community-first ethos aligns with CoinFlip’s values. The initial rollout will include 25 kiosks in various Texas cities, with plans to expand further across the state.
CoinFlip, founded in 2015, is a global digital currency platform that offers consumers a simple and secure way to buy and sell cryptocurrency. With over 400,000 customers globally and more than $4 billion in transaction volume, CoinFlip is one of the largest cryptocurrency ATM operators in the world.
Alan Adato, senior manager of merchandising and procurement of Yesway, highlighted the convenience that CoinFlip kiosks will bring to customers, allowing for seamless transactions of digital currencies. CoinFlip currently operates over 5,000 kiosks across nine countries, providing users with easy access to cryptocurrency.
To make transactions even more convenient, users can download the “CoinFlip Crypto Wallet” app on IOS and Android devices if they do not have a digital wallet. The app will also show the locations of nearby CoinFlip kiosks, making it easy for users to find a kiosk to buy or sell cryptocurrency.
