Forecasting the Trajectory of Ethereum (ETH) Against Bitcoin (BTC) – Insights from Analyst Benjamin Cowen
Cryptocurrency analyst Benjamin Cowen is making waves with his latest forecast on the trajectory of Ethereum (ETH) against Bitcoin (BTC) in the coming weeks and months. With a following of 866,700 on the social media platform X, Cowen is predicting that the Ethereum/Bitcoin (ETH/BTC) pair is likely to bottom out before the end of the year.
According to Cowen, the ETH/BTC pair is not expected to fall by more than 20% from its current level. He emphasizes that now is not the time to be bearish on ETH/BTC, as the market may have already tricked those who were waiting for lower prices. Cowen suggests that the pair will likely bottom out in the current quarter between 0.03-0.04, with a worst-case scenario of 0.03.
At the time of writing, ETH is trading at 0.03891 BTC ($2,617). Cowen also touches on the Ethereum/US dollar pair, indicating that ETH/USD could turn bullish in 2025 after a weak performance until the end of this year.
In addition, Cowen predicts that Bitcoin dominance, the ratio of Bitcoin’s market cap to other crypto assets, will likely peak at around 60% before the end of the year and trend downwards in 2025.
