Cryptocurrency Market Update: Bitcoin and Top Altcoins Experience Bearish Trend on July 4
The crypto market took a bearish turn today, with Bitcoin (BTC) leading the downtrend by dropping to $58K in the past 24 hours. Other top altcoins like Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and XRP also followed suit, mirroring the negative price action.
The global crypto market cap saw a significant 3.94% decrease to $2.18 trillion, while the total market volume surged by 59.38% to $85.75 billion.
Bitcoin’s price dipped by 3.03% to $59,064.44, with its dominance increasing to 53.43%. Ethereum slipped by 3.44% to $3,240.11, Solana saw an 8.31% drop to $136.67, and XRP fell by 4.33% to $0.4588.
Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) prices also experienced pullbacks, with DOGE falling by 5.40% to $0.1153 and SHIB dropping by 5.82% to $0.00001594.
On the other hand, Worldcoin (WLD) and Bittensor (TAO) prices were among the top gainers today, while Akash Network (AKT), Conflux (CFX), Fantom (FTM), and Beam (BEAM) prices were the top losers.
Hourly charts for BTC and ETH showed continued bearish movement, while SOL and XRP traded in the green during the same period.
