The Ethereum Foundation, the non -profit organization, which supports the event in the complete Ethereum blockchain, distributed 2025 subsidies of $ 32.6 million in the primary quarter.
In an allocation update for the primary quarter of 2025, the organization reported 32 million US dollars for various initiatives via its ecosystem program (ESP).
The categories include community and academic grants, zero knowledge and cryptography. Other assignments were execution levels, developer experiences and tools, layer 2 networks and general ecosystem growth and support.
The Ethereum Foundation focuses on education and community
Of the 101 grants granted, 32 assumed the initiatives of the community and education. The recipients included creators of educational content, conference organizers, boot camps and hackathons equivalent to Ethprague and Ethiopia.
Sixteen projects focused on improving developer experience and tools. The beneficiaries included projects that focused on creating software development kits (SDKS), creating evaluation platforms and validator tooling.
Several projects cope with the accessibility of the Ethereum Improvement proposal (EIP), ecosystem tools and language support libraries.
In addition, 14 grants to projects within the Cryptography and Zero Knowledge Proofs (ZK-Proof) category were awarded. These projects focused on the event of cryptographic techniques, the establishment of ZK-Proof technology and research into security and cryptography based on the quantum.
In the meantime, seven concepts of approval are focused on projects on the execution layer, while an extra seven focus on the consensus layer. Nine scholarships focused on a protocol, general growth and support.
Another 13 grants fell right into a “different” category, which included areas equivalent to decentralized financing, DAPPS, StableCoin infrastructure and business development.
