Ethereum developers are working on improving blockchain interalability with two latest token standards: ERC-7930 and ERC-7828.
“There isn’t any standard method for items, apps or protocols to interpret or display this information,” wrote the organization for decentralized financing (DEFI) -Cosystem Development Wonderland in a contribution dated May 1. Arrivals, decentralized applications (DAPPS), block researchers and intelligent contracts follow different rules.
“The result? An untidy, inconsistent experience that breaks the cetting UX,” said Wunderland.
Wonderland is a gaggle of developers, researchers and data scientists who think about improving the Ethereum Defi ecosystem. The organization has teamed up with several Defi protocols, including optimism, Aztec, Connext and longing.

The organization announced within the post, which was discussed for interoperability recently discussed within the Ethereum Foundation Interoperability Working Group Call. Teddy from Wonderland said that the present goal is to finish each token standards in the following two weeks. He added:
“We urgently need feedback on the ETH Magicians Forum.”
Something for people, something for bots
Wonderland said that “ERC-7930 defines a compact, binary format for interoperable addresses”. This format is machine -friendly and optimized for logs that require a single representation for all blockchains.
ERC-7828 expands this standard “by adding a human legible level by utilizing formats like address@chain to be certain that all the pieces stays clear and simple for users.” Together, the 2 should improve the experience of using Ethereum's inter-blockchain ecosystem.
“Target group for ERC-7828 is all the pieces that interacts with people … it’s the text level,” said Teddy throughout the call.
Many chains, an address
Simply put, the proposed system would specify the goal blockchain to send the sender when sending a payment address. This would come with each a human-readable address@chain format and a machine-readable format for application programming interfaces.
The setup prevents users from sending or receiving assets on the unsuitable blockchain, which contributes to stopping crypto lust. The same address for several blockchains throughout the Ethereum ecosystem can currently be used, which might result in confusion.
With the brand new Setup, the Blockchain-Nagnostic, and the address input into the user interface will also be determined which blockchain the transaction is directed. This in turn would scale back the friction, since users currently need to change the networks in articles of products with the intention to switch from the chain to the chain.
