“Bitcoin Standard” creator for the event of the Austrian economy curriculum for the British school

The Lomond School, a personal institution in Scotland, will accept Bitcoin for tuition fees and works with the Bitcoin creator Saifedean Ammous to introduce a brand new curriculum that focuses on Bitcoin and Austrian economy.

Ammous, creator of the Bitcoin Standard, develops an academic curriculum that mixes the principles of Bitcoin (BTC) and Austrian economy.

“I’ll work with the Lomond School to develop a curriculum for Bitcoin and Austrian economy,” Ammous wrote in a post on April twelfth and shared his excitement for “making the fabric widespread worldwide”.

Claire Chisholm, headmistress of the Lomond School, confirmed the collaboration on April twelfth and wrote that she was “captivated with working with Dr. Ammous” and appreciating the “positivity of the Bitcoin community”.

The message comes a day after the Lomond School has announced that it’ll accept BTC for tuition fees from the autumn semester 2025 and to be the primary school within the United Kingdom that takes over BTC payments.

Ammous is best known for the Bitcoin Standard, which was first published in 2018. The book describes the economy philosophy behind Bitcoin and contrasts it with Fiat currency systems. It sold greater than one million copies and, in keeping with Ammous, was translated into 38 languages.
