Solana Mobile, a subsidiary of Solana Labs, the organization behind the Solana blockchain, has launched a token airdrop for owners of its Web3 smartphone Solana Seeker.
The Seeker (SKR) token, the utility and governance asset of the Solana Mobile ecosystem, went survive Wednesday, the corporate said in a post on X.
Solana Seeker smartphone users have 90 days to say airdropped SKR tokens, which will be staked to earn rewards.
The airdrop is out there to a minimum of 100,000 users and 188 developers, with the launch distributing nearly 2 billion SKR tokens to the community, value roughly $26.6 million on the time of publication.
What is Solana Seeker and SKR token?
Launched in August 2025, Solana Seeker is an Android-based smartphone from Solana Mobile, the successor to the Solana Saga, the corporate's first phone launched in 2022.
The Seeker is purpose-built for crypto use and contains a dedicated decentralized app store (dApp) and native integration with the Solana ecosystem. The device supports the SKR token, which is used for governance and rewards throughout the Solana Mobile platform.

Built for the Seeker device, SKR is the native token of the Solana Mobile ecosystem with a hard and fast supply of 10 billion tokens. It functions because the Solana Program Library Token (SPL), the universal standard for creating and managing assets on the Solana blockchain.
The token is meant to reward Web3 community participation, support security initiatives, provide access to platform features, and incentivize users, developers, researchers, and protocols.
SKR Rises 38%, Solana Mobile Expects “Inflation Events” Every 48 Hours
According to CoinGecko data, the SKR token is up about 38% since its launch at around 2:00 a.m. UTC and was trading at $0.013 on the time of writing.
After claiming SKR, users will likely be offered the chance to stake the tokens and earn rewards via the Solana Mobile staking platform, the announcement said.
“Staked SKR starts earning immediately, with inflation events every 48 hours and 0% commission at launch,” said Solana Mobile.

The airdrop represents a significant slice of SKR's fixed-line offering and underscores Solana Mobile's give attention to community-driven growth.
According to CoinGecko, on the time of writing, the circulating supply of SKR tokens was 5.7 billion, with a market cap of around $81 million.
